The Year That Changed You
What has this year awakened in you?
A two-hour gathering to explore what you've experienced, what you've discovered about yourself, and what might be ready to emerge.

Has this year changed you?
Maybe you've been confronted by parts of yourself you thought you'd already worked through. Old fears, familiar patterns, unexpected emotions, or questions about who you are and what you really want.
Or maybe you can't quite put your finger on it. You just know something feels different. The things that used to fit don't fit in quite the same way, and there's a sense that something new might be taking shape.
This has been a deeply transformative year for me, and I've witnessed just how much change, growth, and questioning has been happening in the lives of people around me, too. I've experienced how the things that challenge us, unsettle us, or push us beyond what we know can also bring us into contact with parts of ourselves, gifts, and possibilities we might never have discovered otherwise.
I wanted to create a space for us to pause, take in what's happened, and get curious about what might be emerging, without rushing to make sense of it all or decide what comes next.
What we'll explore together
Looking back at the year - We'll take some time to reflect on what you've experienced, what has changed, what has challenged you, and what has stayed with you. Not just what happened, but what it brought to the surface.
Following what makes you feel alive - What has excited you? What have you felt drawn toward? What interests, desires, ideas, or possibilities keep finding their way back into your awareness?
Getting curious about what gets in the way - We'll explore some of the fears, old stories, and familiar patterns that can surface when we're moving toward something new. Not to fix or get rid of them, but to understand what might be happening beneath the surface.
Recognizing the gifts you might not fully see - Sometimes we're so focused on what we're working through that we overlook the qualities, strengths, and capacities that are already present in us. Through shared reflection, we'll create an opportunity to see ourselves through someone else's eyes.
Making room for what comes next - Rather than setting goals or deciding who you need to become, we'll spend time with the questions and possibilities that are emerging. You don't need to know the answers. You might simply leave with a different relationship to the questions themselves.
What will the experience be like?
This isn't going to be typical end-of-year workshop where we review accomplishments and look at the surface of our lives. We’re going deeply into how this year has changed you and what these changes are inviting you into next.
We'll spend our time together exploring through a combination of guided meditation, personal reflection, writing, conversation, and small-group experiences.
I'll facilitate the space, offer questions and perspectives, and guide us through different ways of looking at what's been happening in your life.
You'll have opportunities to reflect privately, share with others, listen, and be heard. One of the experiences will invite you to receive reflections from other participants about the qualities and gifts they recognize in you. Sometimes other people can see something in us that we've learned to overlook.
There will be structure, but also room for spontaneity and discovery. You won't be expected to share anything you're not comfortable sharing, and you won't need to arrive with a particular issue or outcome in mind.
There will be depth, curiosity, connection, and hopefully some laughter along the way.
Who is this for?
This gathering is for anyone who feels a desire to pause and take a closer look at where they are and what's unfolding in their life.
You might be:
Moving through a significant transition or a period of change.
Feeling that an old version of yourself no longer quite fits.
Discovering new desires, interests, or possibilities, while also encountering the fears that come with them.
Questioning what you want, what matters to you, or what you want to make room for next.
Wanting to understand yourself beyond the familiar stories and patterns you've carried.
Simply feeling that you haven't had enough space to reflect on the year and everything it has brought.
You don't need to be in crisis, going through a major transformation, or have a particular problem to work on.
Bring your curiosity, your experiences, and whatever questions are alive for you.
This gathering is open to all genders and orientations. Whether we've worked together before or you're just discovering my work, you're welcome here.
A little about me
I'm Rio, an intuitive coach, breathwork facilitator, and retreat leader based in Sedona, Arizona. For more than 16 years, I've been creating spaces for people to explore what's beneath the surface, reconnect with themselves and one another, and make room for more of who they are.
My work brings together intuitive coaching, embodied exploration, meaningful conversation, and a willingness to get curious about the parts of ourselves we don't always know what to do with. I'm interested in the complexity of being human, the gifts hidden in the places we least expect, and what becomes possible when we give ourselves permission to be seen more fully.
I love creating spaces where we can go deep without taking ourselves too seriously, and where there's room for both meaningful exploration and the wonderfully ordinary experience of being human.
